Shaman PVP

If you’re looking to get real good at Shaman PVP, it’s very important you start off with the best Shaman PVP talent build you can find to ensure you have that much more of an edge over your competition.  If your Shaman is being made for nothing but PVP, you’ll find this build to be of help.

Now if you’re looking for a PVP build, your options are an Elemental Shaman PVP Build, Restoration Shaman PVP Build or an Enhancement Shaman PVP Build.  I would never spec Enhancement…and if you’re looking to actually kill people, your best option is Elemental…so here’s a build to try out:

To top this off, lets go over a few Shaman PVP Tips:

  • You can’t be sapped while in ghost wolf form (but you’re not immune to cheap shot or kidney punch)
  • If you wind up getting 5 or so wounding poisons on you, you can use Blood Fury to get out of them, then lay a Earth Bind and run out of there with ghost wolf
  • Against other casters, including Shamans, Searing Totem works well
  • Against Mages, pay attention to the direction they’re facing so that if they try and blink to run away, you can have a frost shock in place for them or an EarthBind Totem
  • Loot dead Shamans in BG quickly, otherwise they may ankh and wind up killing you
